Breed-standard grooming isn't vanity; the standards exist because they suit how each coat actually functions. Clipping a wire coat softens and fades it (that's why we offer hand-stripping); shaving a drop coat too short invites sunburn; leaving a curly coat unbrushed means pelting. Our groomers know the difference, over 100 years of combined experience across every AKC group.
